This role will be primarily located at our Retirement Living Village in Penrith and will also support our other Retirement Living Villages in Austral and Thirlmere and will be on site at each once or twice per week.
In this rewarding front-line role, you will be the first point of contact for our residents, visitors, and service providers—offering a welcoming, helpful presence while coordinating a range of village activities and services designed to make life easier and more enjoyable for our residents.
What you’ll be doing in your new role:
- Enhancing resident experience by supporting lifestyle programs, coordinating activities and events, and managing monthly newsletters
- Providing IT support and concierge services, including resident assistance, welfare checks, contractor check-ins, and responding to general requests
- Organising and running programs such as morning teas, lunches, and guest speaker sessions
- Managing communications including resident letters, program updates, and community meeting minutes
- Maintaining village presentation, overseeing reception/lobby cleanliness, and managing parcel and mail deliveries
- Facilitating transport, meal deliveries, and access to services like hairdressing and home care
- Supporting resident move-ins with welcome tours, access cards, and concierge onboarding
Our expectations are that you will have:
- A background in hospitality, hotel management, or customer service with a passion for people
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
- Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and solve problems on the go
- A warm and approachable manner with a genuine empathy for our residents and guests
- Previous experience in a concierge, front desk, or community support role is highly desirable
