Weâre looking for an experienced Regional Clinical Educator to support our Northern Region, covering Newcastle, Ballina, Byron Bay, Port Macquarie, Hawks Nest, and Dungog. This pivotal role sits within our Clinical Governance Team and is responsible for strengthening the capability and confidence of our clinical and care workforce.
Youâll design, deliver, and evaluate highâquality education programsâranging from induction to ongoing professional developmentâensuring our teams provide safe, evidenceâbased, personâcentred care across our residential services.
What you will be doing:
- Provide strong clinical leadership that enhances systems, processes, and care practices to improve personâcentred outcomes.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Foster a culture of learning, growth, and continuous improvement across all sites.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment to uphold excellence in nursing practice.
- Roleâmodel a customerâfocused, safetyâdriven culture where feedback is welcomed and acted upon.
- Support the Clinical Governance Team to embed highâquality, personâcentred care across all clinical and operational activities.
About You:
- Current Registered Nurse registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Minimum 5 yearsâ experience in a clinical education role.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and their application in clinical settings.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching, facilitation, competency assessment, and coaching.
- Ability to travel across RSL LifeCare Residential and Home Care sites as required.
- Skilled in mentoring, supervising clinical practice, and supporting team development.
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organised, with excellent timeâmanagement skills.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and able to build meaningful connections with staff and residents.
- Confident in making balanced decisions that consider customer experience, risk, and operational needs.
- Experience leading teams, supporting wellbeing, and driving performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
