About the role:

- Work across multiple sites – Dungog, Hawks Nest & Newcastle. Giving you the flexibility to experience different locations, learn new skills, and pick up extra shifts to suit your lifestyle.
- Deliver and oversee the provision of high-quality care to residents
- Practice within a diverse and multi-disciplinary care team
- Provide clinical leadership, ensuring individualised, integrated, effective and safe clinical care
- Embody a person-centred approach, recognising and promoting the individual’s unique goals and preferences
- Participate in clinical risk management and continuous quality improvement activities

About You:
We are excited to hear from you about this role! We are looking out for:
- Your demonstrated compassion, empathy and advocacy. Our teams have a passion for what they do and the impact they make to our residents and their families.
- Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure the best possible resident experience, teamwork and standard of care
- Your ability to work independently and demonstrate sound decision-making
- Your track record of leadership, ability to coordinate care across the team and provide clarity and direction
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience – aged care experience is highly regarded
- Current AHPRA registration and Australian Working Rights
Please note: As part of the Casual Pool, you must be willing and able to work across all three of our aged care facilities - Dungog, Hawks Nest & Newcastle.
It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
