RSK Raw offers multi-disciplinary environmental protection and risk reduction services to a wide range of industries and clients across the UK, and specialises in the delivery of spill response, contamination investigation, and remediation projects.
This exciting role offers varied day-to-day tasks and the chance to have a positive impact on the environment and individuals impacted by pollution events and contamination. We are looking for a ‘hands-on’ individual with a great attitude, who is keen to learn new skills in the environmental protection sector.
Key responsibilities:- Environmental incident response across a variety of sites and locations
- Fuel tank inspections
- Assistance with general groundworks and construction tasks, including installing equipment and supervising subcontractors
- Equipment and vehicle checks and maintenance
- Accurate site records, including H&S documents, site notes, and timesheets
- Communication with clients, customers, subcontractors, and others
We operate a 24/7 response service for our clients - you may be required to work out of normal operating hours, for which you will be compensated. Although the role is focussed in the East of England, you will support projects across the region and there will be a need for some travel to cover the needs of the business throughout England, Scotland, and Wales. There may sometimes be the need to stay away from home. Training and development opportunities will be available including plant operators’ tickets, specialist incident response training, and tank testing training.
Key skills and experience:- Good health and safety awareness
- The ability to work as an effective member of a team with good communication skills and a flexible attitude
- Full UK / EC driving licence (essential)
- Utilities / civils / construction site experience and CSC and plant operator qualifications are desirable but not essential
