Ceetech Ltd has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join the team based in Altrincham, UK. This is a permanent, full-time role, working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

  1. Input hours for weekly paid staff into a spreadsheet and accounting package for head office.
  2. Process and verify employee expenses.
  3. Reconcile and post monthly credit card transactions.
  4. Receive, verify, and accurately process invoices and credits, ensuring they are coded correctly to appropriate nominals and cost centers.
  5. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies, following up on outstanding invoices and credits.
  6. Deal with purchase enquiries.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  8. Provide support to the wider finance team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Excellent communication skills with internal colleagues and external suppliers.
  2. Self-discipline, strong team player, awareness of deadlines, attention to detail, ability to work independently.
  3. Bookkeeping experience, knowledge of accounting software, possibly AAT qualification.
  4. Software: Sage, Microsoft Office, Excel, Construct Eque2 — training will be provided.

Salary and Benefits:

  1. Salary: £26,500 per annum depending on experience.
