RSK RAW offers multi‑disciplinary environmental protection and risk reduction services, specialising in spill response, contamination investigation and remediation projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Environmental spill response to a variety of sites.
  • General groundworks and construction works alongside colleagues.
  • Fuel Tank inspections.
  • Support and lead additional fieldwork including installation and maintenance of site equipment, and supervision of subcontractors.
  • Maintenance and/or calibration of equipment and vehicles at offices.
  • Stock and waste management.
  • Adherence to health and safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate site notes, and excellent time management, organisational and communication skills.
  • Maintain positive relations with current clients and interested parties by ensuring a high standard of work and presentation.
  • Occasionally undertake additional work necessary to meet the needs of the business.
  • Additional Information
  • We operate a 24/7 response service; work outside normal operating hours may be required and will be compensated.
  • Travel across England, Scotland and Wales may be required to cover business needs.
  • Occasional need to stay away from home when required.
  • Incident response and tank testing training is provided; additional training and development opportunities will be available.
  • Collaborative working opportunities with other Response and Remediation businesses within the RSK Group.

Qualifications / Experience

  • At least 3 years’ relevant experience (spill response / pollution control industry desirable; other relevant experience considered).
  • Full, clean driving licence (essential).
  • Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) (essential).
  • Utilities / Civils / Construction site experience (desirable).
  • Excavator / dumper experience or certification (desirable).
  • Basic project management experience (desirable).
  • BSc or equivalent in a relevant environmental field (desirable).
  • CSCS card (desirable).
  • First aid certificate (desirable).

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary up to £33,000 depending on experience.
