RSK Land Development and Engineering (LDE) Ltd, part of the RSK Group, is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Wigan, UK. This is a full‑time, permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Deliver designs for infrastructure projects on time and to budget.
- Input into engineering strategies and ensure these are adhered to.
- Negotiate technical approval for adoptable works (S104, S38, S278 etc.).
- Ensure designs comply with current Codes of Practice.
- Maintain effective communication with design team and other stakeholders.
- Ensure LDE’s quality procedures are complied with.
- Understand fee preparation and project cost budgets.
- Assist in mentoring and managing junior staff.
- Assist with technical report production.
Qualifications and Experience
- Working knowledge of:
- Highway design and ground modelling.
- Drainage design and hydraulic modelling, including sustainable drainage systems.
- AutoCAD.
- PDS/XP Site 3D (or similar).
- Microdrainage Windes/Flow (or similar).
- Microsoft packages.
- Ideally 5+ years experience in a similar sector within consultancy.
- Educated to degree or HNC level.
