Play a leading role in protecting British wildlife with ADAS. We’re looking for a Consultant or Senior Ecologist to join our motivated and growing ecology team in the Midlands office (Wolverhampton). As a Senior Ecological Consultant at ADAS, utility companies and developers will look to you for guidance on how to protect nature while they undertake work on sometimes complex infrastructure and housing projects. You will be confident giving clear instruction, overseeing works, and conducting appropriate assessments and surveys to ensure vulnerable species are considered and kept safe at all stages of development.
We envision the role as a hybrid one – it will be a mix of working at home, out on site, and time in the office spent with your team. On your first day, you will be assigned a mentor to help you get settled and find your feet. Helping you maintain a healthy work-life balance is important to us so we offer flexible working hours and the opportunity to volunteer for causes important to you.
Looking ahead to the future, we will want to accelerate your professional development and provide you with any training you need to progress further in your career. In turn, you may be asked to support others who are early in their own career journey.
If you want to work as part of a friendly, flexible and committed team, and you can bring talent, passion, and a proactive, can-do attitude, consider becoming a consultant/senior ecologist with ADAS.
