Drilling Supplies and Hire Services, part of the RSK Group, have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK to work in a small but fast paced front of house unit in a friendly dynamic team.
Drilling Supplies and Hire Services is a supply and engineering company that services Site Investigation, Geothermal and Water well Markets. We take pride in our customer commitment, supplying and delivering a quality product. We have a range of CNC lathes, manual miller machines, Steel Bandsaws, pillar drills, welding and brazing activities in our shop, with a wide product range.
Responsibilities
- Picking orders for daily despatch
- Checking off incoming stock and putting away
- Dealing with local customer collections
- Driving van for local deliveries and collections
- Operating forklift for loading and offloading vehicles
- General warehouse duties
- Good housekeeping
Experience / Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
- Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential as training will be given
- Full valid UK Driving Licence
Salary and Benefits
- Salary £27,000 per annum
- Full time, Monday to Thursday 8 to 5 & Fridays 8 to 4
