Our Welsh workload is primarily delivered through framework appointments with Natural Resources Wales and Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water (DCWW). This includes a diverse range of schemes, from new infrastructure requiring statutory EIA through to river restoration and other nature-based solutions projects.
You will work as part of multi-disciplinary project teams, supporting projects from early option appraisal through to on-site delivery, collaborating closely with engineers and environmental specialists. The role can be full-time office based (Swansea or Chester) or hybrid, with remote working also available.
You will join Binnies' national environmental team, a well-established and supportive group of professionals spanning disciplines including EIA, landscape, ecology, and water environment. While projects in Wales will be your primary focus, there will also be opportunities to contribute to projects across our national portfolio.
You will typically already be chartered, or close to achieving chartership, and we would be pleased to support your continued professional development, including further accreditation such as ISEP Registered EIA Practitioner. Binnies holds the ISEP EIA Quality Mark, reflecting our commitment to high standards in EIA delivery, and is proud to be a sponsor of the Association of Environmental Clerk of Works (AECoW).
