RSK Environment, part of the RSK Group, is looking for Environmental Advisors (multiple levels) to join their supportive and passionate team in Scotland. About The Role

You will support environmental compliance and provide site-based consultancy across a diverse portfolio of projects, with a strong emphasis on renewable energy, grid infrastructure, and developments that contribute to Scotland and the UK’s Net Zero ambitions, delivering meaningful benefits to local communities and the wider environment. This is a hands-on role. We are looking for people who are comfortable wearing a hard hat, pulling on safety boots, and working on active construction sites. You will work closely with project teams to ensure environmental best practice is embedded throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide environmental support and compliance monitoring on client and construction sites
  • Draft, update and work in accordance with Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs) and related documents
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including contractors, engineers and project managers
  • Support environmental management and mitigation measures on live projects
  • Assist in ensuring works comply with environmental legislation and best practice
  • Prepare reports and communicate findings to clients and project teams

About You

  • A degree in Environmental Management or a related field
  • Experience working within an environmental consultancy or similar environmental advisory role
  • Experience working on construction, infrastructure, or renewable energy sites is highly desirable
  • Confident working in site environments (PPE, muddy boots and practical conditions)
  • Experience liaising with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A passion for environmental protection and sustainable development

Location & Travel

We are particularly interested in applicants based in Angus, Argyll & Bute, Aberdeenshire, Highland, and across the Central Belt. This is a hybrid role, but the position is primarily site-based, supporting projects across Scotland. Travel will be required depending on project locations. All travel expenses and accommodation (where required) are fully covered.
