Renewable Heating Engineer – Wigan, UK
Richard Irvin, an RSK Group company, is recruiting a Renewable Heating Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintenance of air source heat pumps (ASHP) and ground source heat pumps (GSHP).
- Install renewable and gas plumbing systems in new construction projects or renovations.
- Inspect and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures.
- Ensure compliance with G3 unvented water regulations, legionella awareness, electrical safe isolation, and 18th edition ACS plumbing and gas requirements.
- Work with FGAS and BPEC certification guidelines (advantageous).
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years proven experience as a plumber/commercial plumber.
- Commercial experience required and certified.
- Level 5/6/7 in gas or equivalent NVQ 3/4/5.
- Knowledge of renewable heating installation and maintenance.
- Electrical safe isolation knowledge.
- BPEC certification (advantageous) and familiarity with FGAS.
Compensation: Salary depending on experience. Company pension.
