You will be at the heart of our projects, preparing and reviewing vital environmental documentation, providing hands‑on support to construction teams, and helping develop our Environment and Sustainability Advisors. What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead on and provide support to construction projects on environmental and sustainability issues, including producing site‑specific project documentation and communicating this to the relevant personnel.
  • Delegate authority from the Environment and Sustainability Manager in their absence, including attendance at Business Unit meetings when required.
  • Provide support to Environment and Sustainability Advisors.
  • Ensure compliance with current environmental legislation and promote best practices relevant to @one Alliance.
  • Attend project specific meetings including (but not limited to) Fit for Enabling, Project Rehearsals and Fit for Construction.
  • Undertake Site Set Up Environmental Audits and other audits as required.
  • Lead in the reporting of CAT2, CAT3 incidents and CAT4 / Near miss reports and assist with CAT1 investigations.
  • Review CAT3 incident reports produced by the Environment and Sustainability Advisors.

What you’ll bring:

  • Subject matter expertise including contaminated land, statutory nuisance, waste management, soil testing, ecology, archaeology, incident investigation.
  • Knowledge of key environmental legislation.
  • Educated to degree level in an environmental related subject.
  • Member of a relevant professional body.
  • Direct experience with environmental regulators.
