We are looking for a Senior Architect to join our team at ECD, an RSK Group company. We are open to this being a full-time position. This is an exciting opportunity best suited to a motivated, organised and proactive individual.
ECD are an award-winning engineering consultancy based in the Blackfriars area of London. Our team has grown to around 30 staff and counting. We have positioned ourselves as an industry expert with international reach and are celebrating 25 years of expertise in 2026. We are also considering applications to be based out of our Preston office.
Our Senior Architect will have experience of all stages of the design process and are capable of taking day-to-day responsibility for a minimum of one major project. We are wanting tomsone who has a good working knowledge of Building Regulations and Revit.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all necessary information in accordance with the brief and budget with the support of the senior leadership team.
- Develop and prepare drawings, models and images relating to design as per the brief
- Take responsibility for specific areas of the design and project development.
- On an ad-hoc basis, take leadership on a project to help with the external design team and other associated organisations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A good amount of post qualification experience and working knowledge of Building Regulations - ideally in a UK practice
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to understand and formulate design decisions.
- Ability to use a variety of media in the development and documentation of a design project.
- Proficient use of Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other Microsoft software
