What You'll Do

As a technical and team leader, you will have a pivotal role in delivering safe, efficient and innovative electrical engineering solutions. You will:

  • Lead and guide electrical engineering teams to produce high-quality technical outputs, including:
  • Single-line diagrams
  • Control system architecture
  • MCC datasheets
  • Load schedules
  • Act as a technical specialist, providing expertise across all project stages
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems, engineering standards, and governance
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary designs and manage integration across all engineering interfaces
  • Work closely with project managers, design engineers, JV partners, and clients
  • Lead reviews of bids, designs, and subcontractor deliverables
  • Provide on-site technical support, ensuring safe and correct implementation
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering capability growth
  • Oversee budgets, schedules, risks, quality and delivery performance across your portfolio

You will have

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Strong professional experience within the water, wastewater or related engineering sectors

• Expertise in

  • Electrical power systems
  • Water treatment control systems
  • Integrated system and automation design
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations, procurement processes and document control
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
  • A proactive, adaptable and solution-driven mindset

  • Professional qualification (IEng / CEng MIET)
