The predicted salary is between 16200 - 27500 Β£ per year.
The successful candidate will be working on site in our Manchester office 5 days a week 09:00 - 17:30. You must live within a commutable distance to the office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line IT Service Desk support to internal users, addressing incidents and requests by phone, email, service desk, remote tools, and in person.
- Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Installing and updating software applications.
- Assisting with the setup and configuration of laptops, desktops, mobile phones, and tablets.
- Communicating effectively with users to understand their IT requirements and relaying relevant information to the wider IT team.
- Providing support for IT projects and system upgrades as needed.
- Supporting IT admin tasks, including procurement and general administration.
- Adhering to and promoting the organisation's IT policies.
- Maintaining the security of the IT infrastructure.
Person Specification:
- Good knowledge and experience of Windows 10 & 11 and Microsoft 365.
- Some previous IT support role experience (preferable).
- Good knowledge of PC and Laptop hardware.
- Some knowledge of Android and iOS on both phones and tablets.
- Ability to install, support and maintain hardware and software.
- Ability to provide telephone support to remote users of all levels.
- Good communication and outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Ability to be dynamic, self-motivated, and work on own using own initiative is essential.
- Well-developed all-round IT and people skills.
- Keen to learn and develop within the role.
- A full UK driving licence is preferable.
