Team Role:
- Assisting professionals to produce detailed technical drawings, specifications and construction documents.
- Collaborate in the preparation of planning applications, Building Regulation submissions and other project documentation.
- After a period of probation and as your confidence grows, begin to operate more autonomously providing strategic advice allied to your professional background.
- Work towards your professional qualification alongside your practical experience.
Individual duties:
- Coordinating detailed design information.
- Preparation of specifications, obtaining tenders and preparing contract documents.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors and regulatory authorities.
- Contributing to meetings and document preparation.
- Contract administration, valuation and certification including chairing meetings with associated document preparation.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
Skills and requirements:
- Graduate / undergraduate of Architectural Technology (anticipating minimum 2:1 for Graduate applications).
- Aspiration and drive to work towards CIAT membership.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Ability to work under own initiative and within a team setting.
- Willing to travel by car and/or public transport in support of day-to-day work.
- Knowledge of MS 365 and Teams.
- Basic CAD knowledge (full training given for our systems).
- Good IT literacy.
