You will be capable of providing environmental advice regarding surface water management and environmental incidents on a wide range of projects.
- Production of environmental management plans including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites.
- Auditing construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans.
- Advising clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements for Surface Water Management and associated waste permits/exemptions.
- Liaison with regulators including the Environment Agency/National Resources Wales.
- Response/management of environmental incidents including fuel/oil spillage, silt discharges, and effluent discharges.
- Advice and on-site training of clients on issues including ecology, contamination, and waste management.
- Production of quotations/tenders for new projects.
- Management of clients and projects.
There is a range of opportunities for individuals with between 2 and 10 years minimum experience in the environmental sector. You should be able to deliver projects and work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy, working closely and confidently with clients and regulators. A track record in managing time and resources effectively and within budget is essential. A full UK driving licence is required.
