RSK Geosciences, an RSK Group company, is recruiting for a Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer based in Coventry, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position. We are a market-leading site investigation, contaminated land and geotechnical consultancy with geophysics and survey teams, as well as waste management consultants, operating from 20 UK locations. We work with clients across the public and private sectors, including major property developers, local authorities and utilities. Responsibilities
- Experienced project manager in an environmental/engineering consultancy environment.
- Practical experience in designing, supervising and managing site investigations for geo-environmental and/or geotechnical assessments.
- Knowledge and experience of basic geotechnical testing and assessment of constraints and foundation design.
- Proven experience of preparing tenders and fee proposals.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of contaminated land and planning legislation in Scotland and elsewhere in the UK is beneficial.
- BSc degree level qualification in Geology, Chemistry, Civil Engineering or a related subject essential.
- MSc in Land contamination/hydrogeology, Engineering Geology/Geotechnical Engineering or Contaminated Land preferable but not essential.
- Chartered Geologist, Scientist or Engineer.
- Full UK driving licence.
