Assistant Company Secretary (12-month contract) – Full-time (40 hours per week), starting September, based at the RSK Group head office in Helsby, Cheshire. Join a dynamic in-house legal team specialising in Legal, Compliance and Governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining statutory books, including registers of members, directors and secretaries, and all company records.
- Ensuring complete records are received from newly acquired businesses and properly recorded on Diligent Entities.
- Completing statutory filings, including Confirmation Statements.
- Assisting with the organisation of Board Meetings and related paperwork for approval of company accounts and dividends.
- Assisting the Deputy Company Secretary to develop governance requirements within the organisation on an international basis.
- Supporting subsidiary compliance, including working with global advisors on the maintenance of statutory registers and corporate filings.
- Responding to KYC and tender requests.
- Supporting share scheme transactions.
Person Specification
- CGI part or fully qualified with at least 2 years’ relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Experience using Diligent Entities is desirable.
- Good attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
- Well organised, with the ability to show initiative.
