Richard Irvin, an RSK Group company, is recruiting for an Approved Electrician to join the team based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Our team of engineers, operations staff, project managers, and compliance specialists are trained to start with our clients’ individual needs and work outwards from there. Our experts have extensive experience of advising and leading FM contracts and projects in both the public and private sectors and across industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct all types of Electrical Services works including PPM tasks, installations, and reactive repairs.
  • Provide remedial fault diagnosis within existing installations.
  • Liaise with clients/main contractors regarding progress and PPM requirements.
  • Ensure that works are progressed in line with current company and client procedures regarding Health and Safety and comply with current relevant building codes, legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures for installation and maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a current IEE Wiring regulations 18th edition training certificate.
  • Hold a current SJIB Approved Electrician Grade Card.
  • Electrical Safe Isolation certification.
  • Ideally have experience within a building service in setting.
  • Experience of Safe Systems of work.
  • Experience of AHU PPM Routines would be beneficial.
  • Awareness of Health & Safety Regulations.
  • Full current driving licence.
