As Project Manager, you will take full accountability for the successful delivery of nature-based construction projects across the Midlands and Southern England. You will work within Binnies, part of the RSK Group, to join our Solutions By Nature (SBN) team and support the delivery of sustainable drainage systems, river restoration, fish passes, green infrastructure and integrated constructed wetlands.
Responsibilities
- Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary teams across design and delivery
- Planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling projects across scope, time, cost, quality, and risk
- Managing project budgets, programmes, and resources to achieve or exceed financial targets
- Supporting tender submissions, including commercial and quality responses
- Developing delivery strategies aligned to client objectives
- Managing contracts across a range of delivery models
- Identifying and mitigating technical and commercial risks
- Driving continuous improvement and innovation across project delivery
- Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Chairing client and project meetings
- Ensuring Health, Safety & Wellbeing is embedded across all activities
- Supporting wider design & build project delivery across Binnies where required
Qualifications
- A professional qualification in Project Management and/or an environmental or engineering discipline
- Experience delivering Design & Build projects
- Strong understanding of commercial models and tender development
- Experience managing programmes (e.g. Microsoft Project or equivalent)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Experience in contract management and administration
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
- Understanding of health, safety, compliance, and CDM requirements
- Experience within the water sector or a relevant transferable sector
- A genuine interest in environmental and sustainable construction solutions
