Purpose
Responsible for developing, driving, and delivering the strategy for sourcing, attracting, evaluating, and placing suitably qualified candidates across the Binnies UK & Australia business.
Key responsibilities
- Manage up to 300 vacancies at one time, depending on discipline, level, salary, and specialism.
- Balance fast-paced transactional recruitment with enhancing Talent Acquisition processes.
- Directly manage and develop remote team members across the UK.
- Use the recruitment portal (recruitment+) to launch vacancies and manage the candidate journey.
- Promote best practices such as interviewing standards, ensuring adherence by the recruitment team and hiring managers.
- Develop and use various Talent Acquisition strategies.
- Design successful campaigns to fill openings cost-effectively and creatively.
- Partner with Hiring Managers and Stakeholders to understand needs, document requirements, and develop recruitment strategies.
- Work proactively with other disciplines to promote Binnies and attract candidates.
- Achieve KPI targets and develop SLAs with the business for the recruitment process.
- Ensure compliance with all HR and data protection policies, including GDPR and IR35.
- Input recruitment data into monthly reports and generate reports as needed.
Talent Acquisition
- Establish networks for future talent sourcing.
- Champion Employer Branding within business processes.
- Proactively source candidates using various means, including networking, LinkedIn, forums, research, direct sourcing, referrals, and professional organizations.
- Manage talent pools and pipelines.
- Maintain strong relationships with candidates and sources.
- Drive and implement the Binnies EDI strategy.
- Update role profiles and selection criteria to include core competencies and support cultural change.
Standards and Compliance
- Track vacancies to meet service levels, time, and cost targets.
- Gather market analysis and competitive data to support recruitment strategies.
- Ensure recruitment compliance, including confidentiality, document handling, and data security.
- Conduct audits and maintain records for IR35 compliance.
- Undertake additional duties as required.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience in stakeholder management, interviewing, employment law, and problem solving.
- Extensive progressive recruiting experience in the engineering sector.
- Proven leadership in managing an internal recruitment team.
