Geosciences division within RSK Group Ltd, one of the UK’s largest environmental consultancies, is seeking an Environmental Manager to join the growing team in Goudhurst (Tunbridge Wells). This hybrid working role requires working from the office a minimum of three days per week. The role involves supporting a diverse range of development projects.

Responsibilities

  • Produce environmental management plans, including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites.
  • Audit construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans.
  • Advise clients on UK regulatory requirements for Surface Water Management and associated waste permits or exemptions.
  • Maintain liaison with regulators, including the Environment Agency and National Resources Wales.
  • Respond to and manage environmental incidents such as fuel or oil spillage, silt discharges, and effluent discharges.
  • Provide on-site training and advice to clients on ecology, contamination and waste management.
  • Prepare quotations and tenders for new projects.
  • Manage clients and projects.

Person Specification

  • Between 2 and 10 years of experience in the environmental sector.
  • Ability to deliver projects within a multidisciplinary consultancy context.
  • Comfortable working with clients and regulators.
  • Track record of managing time and resources effectively and within budget.
  • Full UK driving licence.
