Graduate Surface Water Consultant
Location: Hemel Hempstead, UK
Joining the Geosciences division within RSK Group Ltd, one of the UK’s largest environmental consultancies, you will work alongside an experienced team on a wide range of development projects.
Responsibilities
- Providing environmental advice regarding surface water management and environmental incidents on a diverse set of projects
- Assisting with the production of environmental management plans, including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites
- Auditing construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans
- Advising clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements for Surface Water Management and associated waste permits/exemptions
- liaising with regulators including the Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales
- Responding to and managing environmental incidents, such as fuel/oil spillage, silt discharges and effluent discharges
- Providing advice and on‑site training to clients on ecology, contamination and waste management issues
- Assisting with the production of quotations and tenders for new projects
- Assisting with the management of client accounts and project coordination
Person Specification
- 0 to 2 years of post‑graduate experience in the environmental sector
- Full UK driving licence
