Join RSK Geosciences as an Environmental Consultant in Derby, UK. RSK Geosciences, an RSK Group company, is recruiting a full‑time, permanent Environmental Consultant to deliver consultancy and design services to a wide range of external clients including engineers, house‑builders, oil companies and local authorities. Responsibilities
- Production of environmental management plans including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites
- Auditing construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans
- Advising clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements, including preparation of permits applications and exemptions
- Liaison with regulators including the Environment Agency / National Resources Wales
- Response / management of environmental incidents, including fuel/oil spillage, silt discharges and effluent discharges
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 5–10 years experience in the environmental sector
- Able to deliver projects and work within a multi‑disciplinary consultancy
- Confident client and regulator interaction
- Track record of managing time, resources and budget effectively
- Full UK driving licence
