RSK Geosciences, an RSK Group company, is recruiting Surface Water Management Consultants to join teams based in Helsby, Derby, Coventry, Birmingham, Bristol and Hemel Hempstead. This is a full‑time, permanent position.
The Geosciences team delivers consultancy and design services to a wide range of external clients including engineers, house‑builders, oil companies and local authorities. Responsibilities
- Production of environmental management plans including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites
- Auditing construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans
- Advising clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements, including the preparation of permits applications and exemptions
- Liaison with regulators, including the Environment Agency / National Resources Wales
- Response/management of environmental incidents including fuel/oil spillage, silt discharges and effluent discharges
Qualifications and Experience
- Between 5 and 10 years minimum experience in the environmental sector
- Able to deliver projects and work within a multi‑disciplinary consultancy
- Able to work closely and confidently with clients and regulators
- A track record in managing time and resources effectively and within budget
- Full UK driving licence
