RSK Geosciences – a leading integrated environmental and engineering consultancy – is recruiting a Senior Geo-environmental Engineer based in Coventry, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position in our Geosciences team, delivering consultancy and design services to a wide range of external clients.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and managing a variety of geo-environmental and geotechnical ground investigation and interpretative projects for both external clients and other teams within RSK.
  • Soil and rock logging to current geotechnical standards, including laboratory scheduling.
  • Preparation of H&S plans and RAMS.
  • Preparation of remediation strategies, including verification works on site.
  • Establishing and developing strong working relationships with new and existing clients to contribute to the growth of the Geosciences department.
  • Providing technical leadership in the day‑to‑day delivery of projects.

Qualifications and Experience

  • BEng or BSc or equivalent in Civil, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or similar.
  • Further degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnics or Environmental Science desirable.
  • Registered with a suitable professional body and working towards Chartered status (e.g. Geol Soc, CIWEM, ICE).
  • Significant and demonstrable experience of geotechnical and geo‑environmental investigations and reporting.
  • Demonstrable experience in preparing Geotechnical and Geo-environmental Preliminary reports.
