We are looking for people to work with clients in the following locations: Bristol, Cardiff, Coventry, East Anglia, Helsby, Leeds, South East. As part of RSK Biocensus, an award-winning CIEEM company, we are recruiting experienced and passionate Senior Ecological Consultants to join our growing UK ecology team. This role is permanent with full-time and part-time work patterns available. It will be a hybrid role, with flexible homeworking and office working.
As a Senior Ecological Consultant at RSK Biocensus, you can expect to get involved with the delivery of elements of field surveys, assessment, tender and report writing, and project management on various nationwide and local projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing and overseeing medium/large projects and tenders from commencement to completion and close-out.
- Displaying a commitment to the work produced, promoting RSK in a positive light to clients and competitors.
- Managing medium-sized projects, including finance, resource allocation, managing sub-contractors, risk and quality assurance, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication, and seeking and responding to client feedback.
- Completing fieldwork, including out-of-hours surveys, travelling as required and working away from home.
- Overseeing aspects of site work and undertaking practical elements of habitat management or creation, under supervision.
- Assisting with the delivery of survey and research reports, including document reviews, statistical analyses, licence applications, reporting, etc.
- 1st Degree in relevant discipline or vocational qualification.
- 5 years specific relevant experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Species specific personal licences are desirable.
- Associate membership with CIEEM and adherence to CIEEM’s Code of Professional Conduct.
- £32,000 – £45,000.
