Key Responsibilities
- Managing ecology projects, including the timely delivery of reports and survey outputs.
- The main point of contact with clients on the projects you manage.
- Coordinating and scheduling field survey programs involving our staff and subcontractors.
- Maintaining project programmes and managing project budgets.
- Contributing to bids and tenders for new work.
A full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle will be required for this role.
Key Skills & Experience
- A degree in an Ecological / Environmental related degree or substantial relevant experience would be desirable but not essential.
- Strong project management skills through experience, training and qualification (e.g. APM PMQ) would also be welcomed.
Personal Specification
- Highly organised, IT literate with good numeracy skills; and experienced in using common MS office software packages.
- Able to produce project programmes using MS Excel, and ideally MS Projects or Primavera.
- Quick and enthusiastic to absorb technical information and has, or is prepared to quickly gain, a working knowledge of ecology survey methods.
- Has strong commercial awareness and an understanding of practical contract administration.
- A strong communicator.
- Dynamic and motivated with demonstrable leadership skills.
