We are looking for an ambitious surveyor or analyst to join our team ideally based in the Midlands, UK. The role will be a mixture of home, site, and office-based work.
Responsibilities:
- Working across the UK to travel to client sites, as and when required
- Completion of site works defined within the scope of works provided by the Project Manager
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders including clients and contractors on site, providing feedback
- Reporting issues on sites to Project Managers and clients where necessary
- Advising clients of asbestos liabilities and management requirements
- Training, supervision, and auditing of other members of staff as required (dependent on experience)
- Accurately recording site data and generation of test reports/certificates in a timely manner
- Taking representative site photographs and preparation of annotated site plans
- Completing quality control and equipment management and KPI requirements in a timely manner
- Working with the Quality, Technical and Project Managers to ensure all work is carried out in compliance with the quality system and to a general high standard
Person Specification:
- Full UK driving licence
- BOHS P402, 403 and 404 or RSPH equivalents
- Able to use Microsoft software, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Highly disciplined and honest
- Versatile with a can-do attitude
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Candidates should work well on their own initiative, under pressure and also as part of a team
- Adequate knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation
