This is a fantastic opportunity for a property solicitor/lawyer with sound experience in residential conveyancing in the UK and Russian language skills to join a fantastic legal practice with an international flair. This is a completely remote role and will be suitable for anyone looking for flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Deal with day-to-day care and conduct of your allocated client files, specifically to ensure that each case is progressed weekly and an appropriate written Friday update is provided to the client.
- Maintain all files and papers in accordance with the requirements of the Law Society, the Legal Service Commission and, where applicable, in accordance with the SRA accounts rules.
- Advise clients on various particular matters, including research, preparing documents and correspondence in accordance with their instructions.
- Day-to-day management of the allocated paralegal to ensure their work is appropriately supervised. Development of the allocated paralegal to enhance their career, including being supportive, providing mentorship, guidance, and encouragement where needed.
- Demonstrate best practice on our LEAP Case Management System.
- Maintain your personal training and development to the required level, staying up to date with all the related rules and regulations.
- Comply with all written and verbal procedures and requests reasonably requested by the Board of Directors.
Key Skills
- You will be an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or a Licensed Conveyancer.
- Commercial property experience is a plus, but not a necessity.
- Ideally, you will be a 3+ years PQE candidate, but candidates qualified by experience will also be considered.
- Confident and capable of working on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Sound knowledge of the full cycle of the conveyancing process in the UK, from start to completion.
- Experience in LEAP case management system is a plus.
- Be commercially aware with the focus on delivering results for the clients and the firm.
- Capable of identifying areas for improvement and willing to benefit the team with various solutions.
- Fluent in English and Russian languages.
- Full right to work in the UK.
- Great communication skills, positivity, helpful approach.
