We are seeking a highly organised, discreet and hands-on Household and Wardrobe Manager / Personal Assistant to support the Client and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of their London City residence.

The role combines personal assistance, household organisation, arranging maintenance and repairs, wardrobe management, lifestyle support, property oversight, pet care (cats) and car management. The successful candidate will work closely with the Housekeeper and the Client’s Business Executive Assistant.

This is primarily a Private Support role; however, the individual will also be expected to cover essential housekeeping duties when the Housekeeper is absent. It is a very hands-on role, and we are looking for a person who is flexible and has such basic hands-on experience.

The role is hybrid, with work split between the London property and remote working. The successful candidate may also work from the City office when preferred.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-18:00, with flexibility to work weekends / additional hours as required. The candidate should be reachable outside of normal working hours.

Occasional travel might be required.

ResponsibilitiesPersonal Assistance and Lifestyle Support

  • Support the Client and the Client’s partner with day-to-day personal requests and ad hoc tasks.
  • Arrange personal appointments, including haircuts, dental appointments, medical scans, padel sessions and other lifestyle bookings.
  • Coordinate all appointments with the Business Executive Assistant, who retains overall ownership of the Client’s diary.
  • Manage mail, parcels, personal correspondence, household deliveries and personal deliveries at the London property.
  • Pack and unpack luggage, ensuring clothing, toiletries and other travel essentials are prepared.

Household Organisation, Maintenance and Stock Management

  • Establish and maintain systems and checklists to ensure the residence runs smoothly.
  • Monitor and replenish toiletries, personal-care products, household and cleaning supplies, food, snacks, berries, bottled water and other household essentials.
  • Work closely with the Housekeeper to avoid duplication.
  • Maintain an organised inventory of products and preferred brands.
  • Ensure purchases and deliveries are stored correctly and promptly.
  • Check that appliances, equipment and household systems are functioning correctly.
  • Report damage, faults and maintenance issues promptly.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers and service providers to arrange repairs and maintenance.
  • Follow up on outstanding works and ensure completion to the required standard.
  • Support the planned property renovation, expected to begin around October or November 2026.
  • Monitor renovation progress and coordinate access for contractors and suppliers.

Wardrobe Management

  • Maintain and organise the Client’s wardrobe, drawers and storage areas.
  • Ensure clothing is clean, pressed, repaired and ready to wear.
  • Arrange dry cleaning, laundry in coordination with the Housekeeper, tailoring, shoe care and repairs.
  • Monitor frequently used clothing and personal items, including underwear, socks, basic garments and accessories.
  • Purchase or replace wardrobe essentials in line with the Client’s preferences.
  • Assist with clothing purchases, returns, exchanges and alterations.
  • Prepare clothing and outfits for travel, events and day-to-day requirements.

Expense Administration

  • Maintain an accurate expense tracker for household and personal purchases.
  • Retain and organise receipts, invoices and proof of purchase.
  • Monitor household spending against agreed budgets where applicable.

Pet Care

  • Assist with the care of the Client’s two cats.
  • Arrange veterinary appointments, grooming and other pet-related services.
  • Coordinate pet-related paperwork, medication and travel arrangements where required.

Cars Management

  • Oversee the ongoing care and administration of the Client’s vehicles.
  • Arrange cleaning and detailing upon request.
  • Coordinate servicing, maintenance, MOTs and repairs.
  • Manage road tax, insurance renewals, parking matters and payment of PCNs.
  • Maintain organised vehicle documents, invoices and service records.
  • Coordinate one-off projects and purchases, including immobiliser installation, tracker installation or activation, phone holders, vehicle accessories, inspections and specialist maintenance.
  • Liaise with dealerships, garages, insurers and automotive service providers.

Housekeeping Cover (when Housekeeper is away)

When the Housekeeper is away, the HM / PA / Wardrobe Manager will cover essential daily housekeeping and tidying up duties.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a private household, luxury hospitality, butler, personal assistant, wardrobe management or a similar role.
  • Resourceful, able to act quickly and fix property issues in a timely manner when required – knowing who to hire, get quotes, arrange visits, maintenance, etc.
  • At least 2 independent references.
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to establish effective household systems.
  • Comfortable managing a varied workload and completing both administrative and practical tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistently high standards.
  • Discreet, trustworthy and respectful of confidentiality.
  • Flexible and willing to assist outside the core scope of the role when reasonably required.
  • Confident dealing with contractors, suppliers and luxury service providers.
  • Willing and able to undertake some housekeeping duties during periods of Housekeeper absence.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • A full UK driving licence.
