We are hiring a senior software engineer to work within the digital procurement team, creating and supporting AWS-based APIs that power our B2B EDI solutions.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop microservices: high-scale, fault-tolerant, low-latency APIs, event-driven architectures, database reliance
- Own the entire software lifecycle: design, build, operate
- Work in an agile team: prefer small releases, deploy directly to production, frequent iterative releases
- Improve our tool chain and understanding of best practices
- Communicate positively and work as a team
About You
You should have the following technical experience:
- Proficiency in developing scalable APIs and microservices
- Experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS
- Strong problem-solving skills at code and platform levels
- Ability to translate project briefs into actionable work
You will also be someone who:
- Positively impacts the team daily
- Mentors engineers and leads development efforts
- Communicates effectively and is easy to work with
