RS Group is currently seeking a talented Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team permanently. In this role, you\’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering infrastructure and data projects to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
You\’ll work closely with internal teams and third-party partners to coordinate resources, manage risks, and ensure projects are delivered successfully from initiation through to closure.
What You\’ll Be Doing
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that align customer requirements with business objectives, coordinating technical teams and stakeholders across all phases of delivery.
Manage project resources, including people, budgets, and materials, to ensure successful delivery.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Engage effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements, manage expectations, and evaluate alternative solutions.
Provide technical direction and oversight to ensure infrastructure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.
Ensure projects are formally closed, lessons learned are captured, and outcomes are reviewed to support continuous improvement.
About YouYou\’re an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager with a strong background delivering complex IT infrastructure projects in fast‐paced environments. You\’re comfortable working across both cloud and on‐premise technologies, can confidently manage multiple stakeholders, and can see the bigger picture while driving delivery.
You bring a structured, proactive approach to project management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to communicate clearly at all levels of the organisation.
What You\’ll Need
Experience managing Windows operating system upgrades, hardware refresh programmes, and server update projects (on‐prem and cloud).
Hands‐on knowledge of cloud and on‐prem network infrastructure, public‐facing third‐party Wi‐Fi solutions, enterprise‐wide WAN and LAN solutions, VoIP and video communication platforms, and network security implementations.
Solid understanding of Cisco and Meraki network products, structured cabling installation and commissioning, and software‐defined network rollouts.
Strong experience using PPM tooling and project management software.
Advanced project management certification (e.g. APM, PMP, PgMP).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities.
Effective problem‐solving skills with a delivery‐focused mindset.
Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, evolving environment.
