This role is offered on a hybrid basis, which involves a combination of working field-based, visiting customer sites/our offices, and also remotely. Here at RS, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Account Manager to join our successful, innovative sales team.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target revenue potential within your portfolio.
- Producing robust business plans that exceed sales and profit targets.
- Building a detailed understanding of the customers, markets, and competitors.
- Maintain and upkeep accurate customer records.
- Building coalitions across the business to support the delivery of sales targets including with the internal account managers.
Qualifications
- Experience in a field-based sales role with account management responsibilities and exposure to working to KPIs and targets.
- You are open-minded, possessing the ability and willingness to embrace change.
- Someone who takes a solution-led approach to their work.
- You possess a proven ability in strategic thinking and planning.
- You are an excellent relationship builder.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Any Salesforce CRM or B2B experience would be a bonus!
- A driving licence is essential!
