Information Security Governance Programme Lead
Location: Hybrid (London or Corby)
Fixed-Term Contract – 12 months
RS Components is looking for an experienced Information Security Governance Programme Lead to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the governance structure of the Information Security team and managing training and development opportunities. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you will work alongside a team responsible for protecting the organization through a combination of technology, people, and processes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Monitor and track the progress of security initiatives aligned with the Information Security Strategy.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of security initiatives, providing insights on their impact across the organization.
- Manage and maintain a regular cadence of KPIs, offering the CISO clear visibility and strategic advice on performance.
- Support the CISO in Senior Leadership Team discussions within the Information Services & Technology function.
- Oversee training programs, qualifications, and development opportunities for the Information Security team, ensuring continuous professional growth.

- Proven experience in information security governance, with a strong understanding of information security principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- A positive, pragmatic, and open-minded approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in gathering and prioritizing requirements for security initiatives.
- Ability to simplify complex technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing processes.
- Understanding of IT security principles and industry best practices.
- Relevant industry experience in a similar governance-focused role.
