Location: This role is offered on permanent basis. It is a hybrid role, offering a combination of being able to work remotely and from our London or Corby Office. Where London based there will also be a requirement to travel to Corby on a regular basis.
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our Finance function. This role will bring critical commercial finance skills to bear across the EMEA Product & Supplier Management (P&SM) categories, providing insight on performance, development, and monitoring of strategic plans and initiatives.
What you will be doing:
• Act as a finance business partner for the P&SM categories, providing decision support and strategic insights.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive financial and operational performance.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and re-forecasting, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Planning Category Margin targets for EMEA and reporting on performance across RS\’ broad product range.
• Representing Finance on the Product & Supplier Management Leadership Team.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support category decision making, investment prioritisation, and margin optimisation.
• Oversee financial management of category projects and programmes, including Product Range Expansion and Merchandise Hierarchy updates.
• Champion best practices, continuous improvement, and the effective use of technology in financial reporting.
About you:
• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent), ideally bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in a finance business partnering role within a large, matrixed organisation.
• Strong financial modelling, analysis, and forecasting skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Commercial mindset with a focus on driving profitable growth.
• Knowledge and understanding of Product & Supplier Management at both strategic and operational levels.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Business Objects, Excel).
