As the Digital Merchandising Lead, you will play a key role in driving commercial success for our global supplier brands by optimizing the digital customer experience through data-driven insights and analytics. You will be accountable for achieving digital KPIs for suppliers and securing additional marketing budgets for future initiatives. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing supplier strategy plans, collaborating closely with Digital Merchandising, Product & Supply Chain, and Marketing teams, while balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own the delivery of key supplier metrics, including visits, sales, participation, conversion, and search trends, creating actionable plans for improvement.
  • Manage supplier funding, influencing over £1 million in marketing investments.
  • Generate periodic sales reports with actionable insights to support category reporting led by the Digital Merchandising Manager.
  • Lead quarterly supplier reviews, assessing past performance and developing strategic plans for the next quarter.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Merchandising Manager to align supplier plans with broader category strategy and goals.
  • Lead digital projects aimed at enhancing category performance, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with global Product & Supply Chain teams, Marketing, and wider Digital Teams, influencing future commercial activities.
  • Collaborate with EMEA marketing teams to ensure alignment with their strategy and deliver impactful plans.
  • Plan and execute digital merchandising activities 3-9 months in advance, balancing long-term strategic thinking with short-term implementation.
  • Leverage analytics and customer insights to inform supplier plans, contributing to continuous improvement in digital performance.
  • Identify opportunities or challenges and solve them through website merchandising or customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Foster strong relationships with supplier brands to drive investment in digital marketing and content, targeting key customer segments.
  • Manage the end-to-end supplier onboarding process, from initial pitch to contract negotiation and re-sign discussions, requiring strong commercial acumen.

About You:

You are a strategic thinker with a proven ability to create and implement digital merchandising plans for key suppliers. You excel at building strong relationships and optimizing the customer experience, while prioritizing effective planning and execution. With a commercial mindset, you manage supplier partnerships and ensure the successful execution of digital strategies.

  • Proven experience in a B2B or B2C Digital Merchandising role.
  • Proficiency in tools like Adobe Analytics, BrightEdge, and Google Trends, with the ability to communicate insights effectively.
  • Strong understanding of the digital landscape in both B2B and B2C environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting data and insights.
  • Experience with content management systems and familiarity with Digital Merchandising KPIs.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing channels and how they influence results.
  • Ability to proactively identify and address issues to improve UX and CX.
  • Strong negotiation skills and contract management experience.
