As Digital Advertising Manager, you will lead a small but high-performing team to deliver best-in-class paid media campaigns that drive growth across the UK and wider EMEA region.
Reporting to the Head of Paid Media, you will set strategic direction, optimise budgets, and ensure flawless execution across channels, while developing your team. You’ll collaborate with local market teams and digital functions to deliver measurable results in sales, traffic, and brand visibility.
This role offers the opportunity to manage multi-million-pound budgets and impact diverse markets.
What you will be doing:
Paid Media Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute paid media strategies (Search, Display, Paid Social, Programmatic, Video, Retail Media) aligned with business goals.
- Lead adoption of new digital advertising technologies, AI-driven optimisation, and automation.
- Manage media planning, forecasting, and investment decisions for large budgets.
Team Management & Development
- Lead and coach a team of three specialists, fostering growth and high performance.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Performance & Optimisation
- Ensure campaigns meet KPIs such as sales, ROAS, customer acquisition, and traffic quality.
- Oversee testing, A/B experiments, and channel innovation.
- Drive best practices in tracking, attribution, and data-driven decisions.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with regional marketing teams for tailored campaigns.
- Collaborate with SEO, CRM, Content, Analytics, and eCommerce teams.
- Influence senior stakeholders with data-led insights.
What do I need to be successful?
If you have:
- 4+ years in paid search and digital advertising with managing large budgets (£1M+ annually).
- Proven experience with Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic platforms.
- Strong knowledge of digital measurement tools (Google Analytics, GA4, Adobe Analytics).
- Familiarity with bid management and automation platforms.
- Leadership experience with a passion for team development.
- Analytical skills to translate data into insights.
- Business-oriented mindset linking media activity to outcomes.
- Multi-market or EMEA experience is a plus; language skills in French, Italian, or German are desirable but not mandatory.
