The predicted salary is between 60000 - 75000 £ per year.

This role will play a critical part in the RS Integrated Supply business and financial strategy and decision‑making processes, supporting the FD and Finance leadership team to work with the business to optimise the RSIS Cashflow. With Global Pass‑through spend of c£600m, accurate and timely cashflow management information and controls are essential to the success of the business.

You will be responsible for managing the reporting and analysis of the RSIS Cashflow as well as assessing controls, building cashflow budget and forecast models, measuring and reporting relevant KPIs to the RSIS & RS group senior executive leadership teams. You will work across the RSIS organisation, understanding the impact of new business, contract renegotiations, cycle times and system impacts. Reporting directly to the RSIS FP&A director, you will work closely with the head of finance operations and collaborate with teams across RSIS as well as group treasury.

What you will be doing

  • Forecasting: Deliver accurate and timely RSIS cashflow forecasts/budgets including scenario analysis to demonstrate business levers, including what it would take to eliminate group funding requirements.
  • Management Reporting: Deliver weekly cashflow reporting, providing timely and accurate reporting, variance analysis and insight to the RSIS Finance leadership team and wider ELT.
  • Commercial review: Be the conduit between commercial movements (managed by the commercial finance managers) and cashflow impacts, specifically focused on the impact of passthrough on cash.
  • KPIs: Generate and calculate DSO and DPO metrics, working with AP/AR leaders to understand the business reasoning behind movements.
  • Group reporting: Ensure alignment with all group reporting requirements.
  • Cash is King: Be the RSIS ambassador for improving cash flow; work with credit risk, commercial finance, Finance operations, accounting and the rest of the business to demonstrate the criticality of optimised cash.
  • Month‑End: Ensure month‑end cash reporting is accurate and timely and prepare reporting for RSIS Monthly Business Reviews with the Group CEO & CFO. Provide insight to allow FLT and other finance leaders to drive improved cashflow through the business.
  • Group treasury: Be the group treasury point of contact for all RSIS cash reporting and forecasts to ensure funding, FX hedging and interest are all optimised.
  • Teamwork: Be a ‘One Team’ pioneer and work effectively across all the finance team.

  • Exceptional modelling skills, forecasting and reporting ideally specific to cashflow.
  • Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills: strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and identify key trends, drivers, and variances; ability to propose effective solutions to financial challenges.
  • Communication: excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and convincingly to non‑financial stakeholders.
