As part of our strategic development within our Control Systems business platform, we are seeking a highly driven professional to lead initiatives in quality assurance, health & safety, accreditation standards and leading governance excellence. This role will be responsible for driving quality management, ensuring product and service standards are met, as well as embedding best practices across production and business processes. The Quality Assurance Manager will primarily be based out of our Nottingham facility with some travel required to our other six sites nationally.
Key Duties
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the business pillar’s quality strategy, aligned with business objectives.
- Foster a culture of quality across all departments, working with stakeholders to drive standards across the group.
- Act as the primary contact for leading our business integrations and standardisation of our accreditation programmes.
- Quality Management
- Establish, maintain and continually improve our quality management systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant ISO standards.
- Conduct and manage all internal audits.
- Operational Excellence
- Use KPI and data analysis to monitor and improve production performance.
- Identify potential sources of errors and implement corrective/preventative actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead and mentor teams on QA excellence and operational delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Promote accountability and ownership of quality at all levels.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in process optimisation, production planning, and quality/standards management.
- Experience leading quality audits and inspections.
- Proven experience in implementation of quality management systems.
- Familiar with manufacturing processes.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies (certification desirable).
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience influencing at all levels.
- Ability to balance strategic initiatives with hands‑on execution.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
