What Are We Looking For? Our Treatment Solutions business platform is continuing to expand as we look to hire an experienced Tekla Technician to join us on a permanent basis. You’ll be responsible for the production of structural designs, generating the design information required to deliver our specialist projects within the water‑sector. You’ll be working as part of a multi‑disciplinary team who have years of knowledge and experience within RSE to offer guidance and support, as well as the opportunity to work on technically complex and challenging projects.

Key Duties

  • Generate the structural plant designs, ensuring alignment with design specifications and technical aspects.
  • Produce the construction information (drawings, BOMs, CAM files, etc.).
  • Ensure that the project design checking, validation and approval procedures are followed.
  • Ensure all output is compliant to industry standards, project specifications, and are overall fit for purpose.
  • Update the drawing register and ensure it is kept up to date, filed correctly and available for inspection.
  • Provide support to the wider Design Delivery team as required.

What Do You Need?

  • Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural Engineering – or equivalent experience.
  • Good knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software (Tekla preferable).
  • Knowledge of British and European design standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
