RSE is looking to hire a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join the division on a permanent basis at our H/O in Inverness. You will work as part of our in-house, multidisciplinary design team and take on a key role in all aspects of projects from scoping and detailed design right through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client Specifications and current regulatory standards.
As part of a multi-discipline project team, some of your key duties include:
- Developing design deliverables from concept to detailed design
- Carry out the planning and implementation of the project design
- Providing technical guidance on Civil engineering matters to the wider project team
- Oversee design aspects of projects from inception to implementation
- Ensure compliance with Client specification and current regulatory standards
- Assemble contract works information documents
- Consider project health and safety, quality and environmental matters
- Liaise with all key stakeholders for the projects
- Implement project change control and programme requirements
- Take responsibility as Design Lead on allocated projects
Requirements:
- Degree/HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of British and European design standards
- Demonstrable experience as a Civil Engineer in a design office with additional experience within the construction environment desirable
- Experience within the Water industry beneficial but other backgrounds may be considered
- Full UK Driving Licence
