Our Integrated Asset Management team in Cumbernauld are looking for an Engineering Surveyor to join us on a permanent basis to assist in the delivery of projects across Scotland. You will be responsible for supporting our Survey Team across multiple construction projects. This position would ideally suit someone with broad site engineering or engineering surveying experience, driven to take on challenges and deliver results, with the support of an experienced team.

Please note this position will require flexibility on working location, with accommodation provided by RSE.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

  • Acting as our primary site engineering specialist on site, liaising between our sub-contractors, and our internal design and delivery teams.
  • Taking an active lead in driving and overseeing quality control on our construction sites.
  • Contribute to the management of our construction works.
  • Processing survey data and producing drawings in CAD software.
  • Produce accurate and timely reports for the Design & Delivery management teams.
  • Utility & buried services location.
  • Supporting the survey team with any other duties as required.
  • Support the training and development of junior members of the team.

What Do You Need?

  • HNC or above in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Keen willingness to learn and develop.
  • Able to work in various locations across Scotland and the North of England.
  • Good time management, with the ability to multitask, plan, and organise day to day workloads within a busy environment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Beneficial Experience:

  • Laser scan surveys, and processing the data.
  • Drone surveys.
  • GPR / EML locators.
  • N4CE / Civil3D / Trimble Business Centre software packages.
