What Are We Looking For?
Our Asset Management business platform is looking for a Structural Engineer to join their in-house Design team on a permanent basis.
You will take on a fully supported leading role in all aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications and current regulatory standards.
- Some Of Your Key Duties Include
- Liaise with Client and stakeholders across the business.
- Produce preliminary and detailed designs.
- Compile design specifications.
- Compile reports and communicate design data to the client and others.
- Comply with company quality assurance procedures.
- Complete required deliverables within allocated project time scales.
What Do You Need?
- Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience of structural steelwork, connection design and detailing.
- Working knowledge of design codes and standards preferably relating to structural engineering such as British Standards and Eurocodes.
- Analyses of structures for stress and deflection using both hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis.
- Knowledge of piping systems would be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of IT packages and systems.
- The ability to work under pressure quickly and accurately with attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communications skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence
