What Are We Looking For?
RSE’s newly created Digital team is looking for a BIM Manager to join the team on a full time permanent basis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing RSE’s Building Information Modelling (BIM) procedures in alignment with ISO 19650 standards and manage software products relating to BIM incorporating new version releases and customisation of the product.
This a fantastic opportunity to support and work closely with RSE’s group companies to implement BIM workflow and procedures to suit their specific business stream requirements and ensure systems integration across the business.
Some Of Your Key Duties Include

  • Responsible for BIM standards and procedure development
  • Develop and execute strategies for BIM implementation
  • Assess client BIM requirements and ensure that RSE deliver to meet these requirements
  • Manage the development of BIM management processes, templates and guideline documentation
  • Manage BIM training and workshops for appropriate business teams or clients
  • Manage BIM queries on the project or relating to RSE’s BIM procedures
  • Manage consistent BIM coordination meetings with the wider RSE’s design teams
  • Keep the organisation informed about best practices in BIM and BIM software
  • Research and trial of additional tools that can complement Design/BIM process
  • Lead on communication and dissemination of information in addressing BIM issues and any matter that could affect the practicality of the BIM solution
  • Provide leadership to business streams, subcontracts and clients on BIM compliance
What Do You Need?
  • A relevant Degree, HND, or HNC in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
  • Excellent understanding of ISO 19650
  • Experience in design and construction procedures
  • Good knowledge of commercially available BIM and CAD software
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately with attention to detail required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Good working knowledge of Autodesk BIM360, ACC, Revit and Navisworks Manager
  • Full UK Driving Licence
