Our Chemical & Biological Treatment business platform is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the division on a permanent basis and support on DSEAR related projects across the UK. You will work as part of our in-house, multidisciplinary design team and take on a key role in all aspects of projects from scoping and detailed design right through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client Specifications and current regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Complete design aspects of projects from inception to implementation.
- Ensure compliance with Client specification and current regulatory standards.
- Prepare work scope estimates/quotations.
- Assemble contract works information documents.
- Consider project health and safety, quality, and environmental matters.
- Liaise with all key stakeholders for the projects.
Qualifications
- Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- CompEx 12 qualified.
- Experience of working in a multidiscipline design team.
- Experience of working at all design stages is highly desirable.
- Possess the ability to work on multiple projects consecutively.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
