The Opportunity
This is a varied, hands-on role combining HGV driving, environmental services, groundworks and technical support. You’ll work on a range of projects including tank and interceptor maintenance, industrial cleaning, spill response and remediation works, while supporting depot operations and responding to customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out tank and interceptor installations, servicing, inspections and decommissioning.
- Undertake industrial cleaning, spill response and high-pressure water jetting.
- Support civils, groundworks, remediation and environmental protection projects.
- Operate company vehicles and equipment (including HGV where qualified).
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
- Complete digital job sheets, RAMS documentation and site paperwork accurately.
- Liaise professionally with customers on-site and provide excellent service.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment and depot facilities to a high standard.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Participate in an on-call rota and work away from home when required.
About You
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred).
- Previous experience in a similar technical, environmental, construction or industrial services role.
- Experience completing RAMS documentation.
- Flexible approach to working hours, overtime and occasional overnight stays.
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
- Plant or excavator experience would be advantageous.
- A proactive, reliable team player with a positive attitude.
