We have an exciting opportunity for an HGV Class 2 Relief Driver to join a global engineering company. You’ll play a key role in delivering vital equipment on time, while representing the company in a professional and friendly way.

This role is based at our Stoke depot and comes with great benefits, including job stability, pension, stay-away bonuses, paid expenses, and overtime at time-and-a-half, offering a high and achievable earning potential (OTE).

Working hours: 10 hours per day between 4 am and 7 pm (typical hours are 6 am to 4 pm). Flexibility is essential.

Overtime: Paid at time-and-a-half.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and collect company products safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate with the Transport Manager and always keep customer satisfaction in mind.
  • Stay in contact with both the office and customers to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Follow all driving laws, including Tacho and DSA driving regulations.
  • Maintain a professional image and represent the company positively.
  • Keep your vehicle in good condition and ensure it meets all safety and compliance standards.
